"The webinar was gentle and informative. I felt understood, not judged, which led me to be gentle on myself. It encouraged me to seek out my own 'rewilding' and spend time in nature without guilt from my veer present 'shoulds'. Thank you"

For too long learning about autism has been focused on 'doing to' autistic people, whereby the non-autistic person has based theories, 'support' and narratives based on external observations of the autistic person. This has led to inaccuracies that continue to cause harm to autistic people.
Thankfully, there is a slow shift and us autistic researchers, academics, practitioners and professionals are growing in numbers, leading to better understanding and outcomes for the autistic community.
I'm Autistic, a parent to Autistic children, a professional with a Masters (with distinction!) in Autism. I live, breathe, study, research autism. Our voices need to be heard in order for others to not only understand autistic experience but also accept it and make adjustments accordingly.
